A little about me

I attended Bootcamp in Bainbridge, MD; I was then assigned to the USS William C. Miller in June of '43, with status as a Plank Owner. I was transferred to the USS Russell after we passed through the Panama Canal and reached Pearl Harbor. I served out the remainder of the war aboard this ship.
