"I regret to inform you of the death of my father, Michael J. McBride, born May 20, 1924 and died on May 4, 2006. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theater from July 27, 1943 and was honorably discharged on February 26, 1946. His service vessel was the USS William C. Miller (DE-259), earning the Pacific Theater Ribbon (5 Star), American Theater Ribbon and Victory Medal." |
